Our client is a leading global telecommunications solutions organization and due to its current and ongoing expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Consultant, Government Relation Based in Dubai.
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for assisting (Chief, Spectrum and Regulatory Policy, Global Government Affairs) with company’s Solutions spectrum and regulatory policy efforts in the Middle East and North Africa. Your responsibilities will include developing technical and regulatory strategies related to spectrum management, working with the relevant regulatory commissions, and other regional bodies to implement a long-term vision that facilitates growth of the company’s Solutions business in the Middle East and North Africa, while also considering MSI near-term business interests. The incumbent also has responsibility for assisting the sales teams in the Middle East and North Africa as needed by liaising with regulators to address regulatory activity impacting the solutions business.
Requirements
The chosen candidate will interfaces and collaborates with a global technical and regulatory team that includes expertise, with knowledge and skills across a wide variety of spectrum and related technical issues. Strong writing skills and public speaking skills. Must speak and write English. Arabic and French are also helpful and having command of additional languages used in the Middle East is a plus. You must hold an advanced degree in engineering or law preferred with 10 – 15 year experience in Policy &Regulatory and at least 5 or more years experience in spectrum-related technical and policy issues or regulatory affairs, with international experience helpful.
