Consultant ICU

Job description / Role

- Responsible for patients referred to the ICU for investigation and treatment.
- Responsible for the appropriate management of these patients, either within the hospital or advising referring practitioners on appropriate care.
- Participates in the Consultant ICU on - call rota.
- May be required to consult in various areas of the hospital outside the ICU.
- Participates in Departmental Audit Meeting and Postgraduate Conferences.
