Consultant - Job Assessments & JD Development (6 month contract)

Created from the integration of three companies - Oman Refineries and Petrochemicals Company LLC (ORPC), Aromatics Oman LLC (AOL) and Oman Polypropylene (OPP) - Orpic is one of Oman`s largest companies and is one of the most rapidly growing businesses in the Middle East`s oil industry.

We are pleased to announce the following vacancies;

5 x Experienced Professionals - Job Assessment & JD Development

Orpic are looking for experienced professionals with the ability to facilitate job assessment meetings (both technical & non-technical) across multiple functions (departments) to gather data for the revamping of job descriptions across the business.

These meetings are a data collecting exercise then write usable detailed standardized job descriptions for the Orpic business.

The duration of the project at this time is estimated around 5 6 months.

Requirements

- Min 10 plus years of experience, either as a specialist in a particular area or a technical / business background as a professional.
- A relevant degree
- Excellent MS Word capability
- Ability to facilitate mini workshops with positive outcomes
- Capable to communicate at all levels in the organization (i.e. General Manager to shop floor)
- Work under pressure and commit to due-dates (ability to work late if required, or weekends)
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Oil and Gas background is an advantage.

Must be available immediately.
