Job description / Role

We are looking to appoint a number of full time Consultant & Senior Consultant Anesthetists to join our JCI accredited hospitals on a permanent basis.
This role is based in Doha, Qatar in a large and extremely busy modern environment.
We would like to hear from Consultants with at least 3 years, ideally solid ambulatory care experience who would like the opportunity to work in our very supportive and progressive modern department.
Our consultant s are responsible for organizing, monitoring, and maintaining the services provided in order to achieve the highest possible level of patient care with optimum utilization of the available resources.
You will develop work plans for specialists and other members of the team and performs all relevant interventions related to your field of specialization. You will also perform health education through orientation and scientific presentations.
You will work closely with a wide range of departments including our National Center for Cancer Care & Research,
Ideally you will have experience of Blocks, Regional and General anesthesia procedures.

Requirements
At HMC we expect our Consultants & Senior Consultants to have either:
- Arab Board of Health Specializations in Anaesthesia
- USA - American Board of Anesthesiology
- UK - GMC/CCST Specialist Register - Fellowship from The Royal College of Anaesthetists
- Canada - Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons RCPSC
- Australia - Fellowship from The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists or Fellowship from The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Specialist Register
- New Zealand - Medical Council of New Zealand Specialist Register
- Germany - Facharzt - Specialist Certificate
- Specialist registration from other countries will be considered after an equivalence review
In addition we ask that Senior Consultants have held a post for a minimum of six consecutive years and have teaching, research and administrative experience.
