Consulting Manager - Information Management

Job description / Role

My client, a leading international consulting firm based in Dubai, is currently seeking a Manager level profile with strong experience in Information management, specifically in the areas of ECM and document management. You will be responsible for advising companies on developing and implementing effective global information risk management compliance programs and enterprise content management solutions. We are seeking subject matter specialists who provide clients with guidance on ECM governance, strategy, policies, solutions and implementations. The teams guide clients with documenting and enhancing processes and requirements; architecting design solutions; identifying and selecting technology tools; developing and deploying ECM systems; and providing ongoing support and transformational assistance. Their technology focus is on unstructured content management systems, including document & contract mgmt, records mgmt, web content mgmt, digital asset mgmt, search solutions, e-discovery tools and social media tools. Candidates with more than 2 years experience in a Big 4 consulting environment are highly desirable for this post.

Requirements

Demonstrates extensive knowledge about the following areas as it relates to developing and implementing effective global information risk management ECM solutions:

- ECM-related industry standards, strategies and governances;
- Records Management policies and procedures;
- Business Process Management ;
- Taxonomy building and metadata models;
- Management of project teams responsible for requirements documentation, user test cases, design documents
- Project management methodology, especially using MS Project
- Management of Client relationships and project expectations for the successful delivery of ECM projects
- Preparation and presentation of concise, accurate documents and reports with an attention to business writing and grammar; and,
- Management of sales pursuits and the development of proposals in response to RFP's

Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge about one of more of the following areas related to guidance on electronic content and records management:

- Delivery of projects for ECM strategy, governance and system implementation;
- Functional knowledge of ECM full lifecycle implementations, including a proven record of success leading multiple ECM full lifecycle implementation projects;
- Functional knowledge of ECM solutions, including a proven record of success serving in a role that utilizes ECM solutions;
- ECM features, functionality and benefits for business justification, as well as guiding clients through selection and implementation of ECM solutions; and,
- The driving of ECM solutions and provide thought leadership of ECM topics of interest.
- Certification and/or studies of concentration in any of the following are preferred:
- Certifications: Content or Records Management or software vendor certifications, AIIM or ARMA certifications
- Studies of concentration: Computer Science or Library and Information Sciences

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrated extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success with utilizing the following software on projects related to ECM Governance, strategy, requirements, design, project management, and functional benefits knowledge of the systems:

- Microsoft SharePoint 2007 & 2010 (WSS, Standard & Enterprise versions).
- IBM FileNet P8 (3.5.X and/or 4.X), - EMC Documentum v5.3 & v6+ (Administrator, Webtop, web publisher, content server, DFC web services), demonstrated thorough knowledge or direct experience.
- Oracle UCM/URM 10g or 11g (Universal Content Manager, Universal Records Manager).
- Autonomy Products.
