Our client, a leading Financial Services company is seeking for a Consumer Credit Policy Manager. You will be directly reporting to the Regional Head of Risk Policy & Analytics

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Key strategy position within Risk Department. Responsible for formulation of Consumer Credit Policy in all markets of AEME. Role also covers development and maintenance of Product Policy for all Consumer Cards Products. Responsibility includes monitoring performance of policy actions and driving corrective actions.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:
- Formulation of Policy
- Responsible for development, assessment and tracking of Product Policies
- Developing acquisition policies to drive profitable growth of new accounts
- Communication with stake holders on the different aspects of the Product Policy
- Work with sales and markets to frame Minimum Acceptance Criteria (MAC)
- Defining authorization parameters for consumer products
- Credit Line strategies
- Keeping credit policies up to date with regulatory requirements
- Ongoing management of Credit programs and Policies
- Tracking Policy Implementation & Process review
- Maintaining Policy change chronology
- Review process of effective implementation of policy
- Design review schedule for tracking performance of policy changes
- Review of policy changes based on business feedback
- Maintain up to date credit and product policies
- Score Cards / Models
- Review performance of existing score cards
- Work with Analytics team to define performance measures and track against benchmarks
- Participate in re-design of score cards
- Portfolio Performance Monitoring to drive Policy formulation/revision
- Review performance of policy changes at various stages
- Identifying profitable opportunities through Portfolio risk segmentation
- Identify risks early and define Corrective actions at early stage of identification of risks
- Constructing and Implementing a framework of Portfolio risk Triggers and corresponding Management actions
- Review of impact of Policy Changes and recommend revisions based on outcome
- Track performance of new accounts and have coordinated results between analytics and policy changes
- Analysis of effectiveness of Credit Line Decrease strategies
- Review authorization rule performance and POS disruptions
- Candidate would be the risk contact for all credit bureaus
- Would attend bureau meetings
- Will facilitate resolution of customer complaints
- Conduct periodic QA on bureau data and files
- Presentations and Stake holders
- Credit committee and Senior Management Presentations

Requirements

- Understanding of key portfolio risk disciplines
- 5-7 years of Risk Experience
- Credit cards experience preferred
- MBA finance from a reputed school or a Statistics degree
- Experience of working with individuals in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to prioritize and effectively drive multiple strategies through the business
- Strong commercial acumen with high competence in negotiating for successful outcome
- Strong in numeric and analysis and very results focused
- Excellent communication skills, including English fluency
- Creativity, ability to think outside the box
