The Role


The Role


You will be required to support delivery of Postpay and Prepay customer revenue and margin budgets through acquisition, customer activity and tenure rates and service penetration. You will be leading all customer facing acquisition communications activities. You will ensure all processes are followed, including those related to approvals from authorities such as the TRA.

You will develop a yearly marketing strategy plan and quarterly marketing plans to include:

• Proposition definition and positioning statements

• Pricing

• Growth initiatives

• Communication Brief for all touch points (Channel Marketing, Website, Customer Comms, PoS, PR)

You will brief the relevant agencies and internal contacts and provide feedback on responses to the brief. You will work with the Customer Base Manager thoroughly analyse the customer base to propose new acquisition initiatives. You will work with the Planning, Insights and Analysis team to produce a competitive analysis of existing and new propositions. You will work with across the marketing department and cross-functional teams to derive and deliver new propositions.

Requirements

You have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing with minimum of 3-5 years of marketing experience at a department head level in telecom sector. You have experience of working in a matrix environment, experience of creating and delivering marketing programmes. You also have experience in proposition and business case development, including pricing / profitability, Sales and / or channel experience ideally gained in a complex business environment, not just in marketing communications. You have excellent analytical skills and MS Office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint). You have project management skills and quick problem solving skills. You are excellent in negotiation and communication skills in English. Good written and spoken Arabic is desirable.
