Job description / Role
Responsibilities
• Working closely with both English and Arabic editorial team to assist them on all content needs (video, text, images)
• Acquiring new content from existing content providers
• Working with existing partners to secure new rights, content types, and renewal of contracts
• Discussing commercial terms with licensors and preparing agreements based on discussions in coordination with legal and finance departments
• Monitoring the competitive landscape and strategic planning
• Developing and analyzing business models for new content types
• Performing content strategy analysis so that our customers have the broadest selection of content available
• Assisting Media team with forecast & budgets
• Developing long lasting relationships with existing and new content providers
• Responsible of the database of new and existing content acquired
• Maintain the highest standards of Arabic/English content exposure and quality
• Up-To-Date and knowledgeable of both Western & Arabic content
• Source, review and analyze content that is suitable for our platform
• Has a vast knowledge of the market landscape
Requirements
• A track record of standard licensing to rev share deals
• A track record of managing a large number of account relationships, ideally related to media
• Ability to understand and analyze contract terms
• Ability to close straight forward deals at a fast pace
• Great communication and organizational skills
• Must be bilingual in Arabic and English
• Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment
• 3+ years of experienced in a related role
• Experience executing complex business agreements with media companies
