Content and Communications Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading provider within the Airline Industry here in Dubai who are seeking a unique and diverse individual to join their Marketing team as a Content and Communications Manager. As Content and Communications Manager, you will craft, write, and edit an array of critical projects, including blog posts, whitepapers, and newsletters. You will also create and implement a corporate communications plan for my client, helping maintain a professional, consistent brand presence to external audiences through media placement and publishing to their own media channels, ensuring that prospects and customers understand their mission and story.

Responsibilities:
- Create compelling content that adds value through education and stories externally.
- Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective communications strategies that articulate their products core benefits properly and consistently.
- Propose and execute new ways of creating and distributing content that expands the companys reach and cause.
- Manage media relations, including relationships with journalists and bloggers for stories, press releases, and interviews.
- Develop written materials ranging from messaging guidelines to press releases to story pitches to presentations by their executives.

Requirements

- BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adept at juggling many projects at once, working cross-functionally, while never losing site of the core message and goal behind your work.
- A deep understanding of proper messaging and PR best practices, along with a creative spark to develop innovative content that stands out among the noise.
- SEO marketing experience
- Native English speaker
