Job description / Role
I am looking for 6 Contract Claims Administrators for major Build projects in Oman. These roles would suit Sri Lankan and Indian Nationals who have obtained a level of academic qualification at BSc Hons Quantity Surveying with MRICS accreditation. If you have Civil Engineering degree then you will have bridged your qualification with the relevant top up degree to qualify for MRICS.
My client will be appointing candidates into full contract roles to be sub consulted to key clients in Oman, particularly with reference to the Oman Airport development.
The salary range on offer will be from 30,000 to 40,000 AED equivalent. There will also be a lead role for a more senior candidates which will be from 45,000 to 55,000 AED per month.
The role will cover the contract administration of major build programmes and packages within the airport structure, you will work within a key team in the;
Contract Administration, control and reporting, cost variations, payments cash flow and claims for the sub contracts and suppliers. Assessment of contract documentation for approval and sign off, assessing claims and invoices and preparing valuations and payments as per contractual requirements.
You will be comfortable with FIDIC contracts and will have covered more than one contract type such as Red and Yellow.
You will be comfortable working within a team and as a team.
Requirements
Candidates Ideally will be BSc Hons In Quantity Surveying, MRICS and have at least 10 years overall experience in cost and contract management of major schemes.
You will have experience of various forms of contract in that time including FIDIC and JCT variations.
If you are Civil Engineer qualified you should have had a bridging to reach QS MRICS level.
