I am working with a number of key clients in the PQS/ PMO structure for a number of key Infrastructure / Airport developments in the region. As such I am looking for a number of candidates to fulfill key roles within the PMO structure covering Contract Administration and Management.
The roles would be a combination of;
Responsible for a team of Contracts Administrators and Quantity Surveyors within the Planning and Development departments
Pre-contract duties including preparation and issue of pre-qualification questionnaires and tender documents and the review of contractors/consultants proposals.
Prepare and issue post tender clarifications and conduct negotiations with preferred bidder(s).
Preparation of Contract Documents prior to contract award.
Full range of post contract administration duties including claims assessment and management, monthly valuations, agreement and processing of variation orders, final account preparation, contract close-out etc.
Coordination with site team to ascertain contractual and practical measures to ensure compliance with requirements.
Maintaining a working relationship with Design, Construction, Engineering, Procurement and Legal Management to facilitate organizational interfaces.
Supervision of site measurement team and management of monthly valuations.
Agreeing valuations and methods of reimbursement with client. Liaison and coordination of agreement on valuations with Contractors.
Final Accounts management including preparation, submission and agreement with Client/Consultant and similarly with the respective subcontractors.
I have a continuous requirement on these projects.
You should have 10 years+ experience in Cost Management with Contract Administration and had responsibility for a team. You will be qualified ideally as a Quantity Surveyor with a recognised QS degree or suitable equivalent. You should be MRICS or be able to demonstrate a proven history of career development and delivery in this the above capacity.
You should be ready and willing to move locations to take up posts potentially in Oman, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha.
Airports experience would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
Packages on offer range from 45,000 to 55,000 for Contract Administration (only)
To, 55,000 to 62,000 for Contracts Managers.
Plus Flights and Insurances, 30 days holiday and 5 day working week.
3 year contract commitment.
