Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Manage all contracts activities including all phases pre and post awards. Prepare tender documents; evaluate submitted tender bids; monitor works and scope variations.
- Prepare evaluation reports based on detailed study of technical and financial data, in order to provide senior management with accurate recommendations to facilitate decision making.
- Review and approval of tenders technical and financial evaluation reports.
- Prepare periodic reports to senior management.

Requirements

- University degree in Engineering; a Master's degree in Quantity Surveying; Commercial Law or an MBA is preferred.
- 20 years experience in contract management, preparing contractual correspondences related to claims; disputes; and evaluating contractual status for both contractor and client.
- Experience in Engineering contracts/constructions according international standards.
- Experience in construction law; various consulting services contracts; procurement operations for constructions.
- Experience in infrastructure sector, as viewed by contractor, client and consultants.
- Experience in arbitration, litigation and mediation.
- Experience in International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC).

Balancing development with protection of the environment is a key concern for the New Port and construction is taking place with environmental preservation paramount; multiple simulation studies, physical modeling, geotechnical and metoceanic analysis and in-depth environmental studies have been undertaken in order to facilitate a responsible implementation of the project.
