Contract Manager

Job description / Role

Single point responsible and accountable for the Management and Execution of all aspects of a 5 year multidisciplined oilfield construction and maintainance service contract.
Empowered to authorise executive decisions on behalf of STS for activities related to The Contract.
Create and foster a culture of continuous improvement in Contracts organisation.
Screen / Endorse employment of all Key Personnel, Key Staff under the contract.
Leadership in HSE performance.
The Job is Muscat based and offers family status.

Requirements

Degree in an engineering discipline (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng.) and membership of internationally accepted applicable professional institute.
Shall have a minimum of 15 years relevant work experience, 5 years of which shall have been in a managerial position in a Service Contract for the oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
Shall have experience in all aspects of project development management, maintenance and general management.
Experience in the Middle East would be preferred but not mandatory.
Shall be able to create and articulate vision, policy and strategy with regard to Contractor’s business.Shall possess proven ability to communicate, delegate, and motivate all staff.
Incumbent is one of the key personnel to the success of joint venture and relationship with the Client.
Shall be chosen for exceptional management and inter-personal qualities.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Shall be able to form, smoothly interact and motivate a team within a matrix type organisation. Demonstrable leadership skills.
