Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

CH2M HILL has been retained as the programme manager (PMC) for the Qatar Public Works Authority Inner Doha Resewerage Strategy Implementation (IDRIS) Programme. IDRIS is PWA's flagship drainage project. The anticipated components of IDRIS include:

• Approximately 70-km of new interceptor sewers associated with gravitation of 30 existing pump stations
• Approximately 45-km of new deep tunnel trunk sewer
• Terminal Pump Station
• Sewage Treatment Works
• Treated sewage effluent return pump station and transmission pipelines

CH2M HILL is looking for an experienced construction professional (quantity surveyor / civil engineer) to join our IDRIS Programme Management team in the role of Contracts Administrator. Responsibilities of this role include:
• Taking a leading role in the procurement of contractors under a design build arrangement for conveyance systems and design build operate for terminal pump station / Sewage Treatment works.
• Evaluation of contractors tender returns and making recommendations for award.
• Assembling final contract documentation following award.
• Ensuring contractors comply with mandatory contractual obligations with regards to submissions.
• Administer contract provisions with regards to interim payments, change management, cost management and risk management.
• Ensure contractors comply with programme wide reporting obligations.
• Compiling final accounts for contracts.
• Provide other programme support as required.

Requirements

Job Requirements/Qualifications/Experience:

Basic Qualifications:
10 years' experience in construction contract administration. Chartered membership or equivalent of a Professional Institution is an advantage.

Education:
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Quantity Surveying or Civil

Job Experience:
10 years post graduate experience with at least 5 years working with in Client's or Consulting organization. Middle East experience preferred but not required
