Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A leading Main Contractor in Qatar requires a degree qualified Contracts Administrator to commercially and contractually oversee highly prestigious multibillion contracts in Qatar. Working for one of the largest and most established Contacting Companys, you will have 15 years experience Senior Quantity Surveying experience within the build environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handling commercial, contractual matters and correspondence.
Claims preparation.
Document control procedures.
Reviewing and verifying all contract documentation.
The preparation of Bills and/or Schedules of Quantities of materials, labour and services required in the construction and equipment of building or engineering works.
Financial reporting and tracking.
The preparation and valuation of progress and final payments in connection with any contract or sub-contract.
Preparation of specifications.
Acting as arbitrator in cases of dispute in connection with building or engineering work.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
15 years+ Senior Quantity Surveyor experience within the build environment.
Main contractor background.
Large scale projects.
A degree (or similar equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Primavera knowledge is an added advantage.
Previous experience of working in the Middle East region would be beneficial but not essential.
Western nationality.
