Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Contracts Administrator/Engineer is responsible to ensure that all projects are performed fully in accordance with terms and conditions of the Contract Documents.
- Manage all Site Measurement Engineers under direct responsibility, assign duties and ensure that all are conducting their duties as required
- Advise PM, CM and the Resident Engineers on contractual matters and ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements
- Review Interim & Final valuation of works and make recommendations as the payment to be made to the Contractors
- Attend commercial issues such as review of new rates, additional works, cost analysis, cost impact studies and disputed items of work, and make recommendations to the Project Manager
- Review, evaluate and negotiate variation orders and produce recommendations to the Project Manager
- Evaluate claims including compilation of effective contemporary records and preparation of contractual reports to Employer and also to Arbitrator, if required.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
- 15 years experience in contracts administration, with at least 5 years in senior role on large infrastructure project
- Professional qualification such as RICS or MICE
- Previous experience overseas, Middle East preferred
