Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Contracts Administrator is responsible to ensure that all projects performed fully in accordance with terms and conditions of the Contract Documents, as following:
- Manage all Site Measurement Engineers under direct responsibility, assign duties and ensure that all are conducting their duties as required.
- Advise PM, CM and the Resident Engineers on contractual matters and ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements.
- Review Interim & Final valuation of works and make recommendations as the payment to be made to the Contractors.
- Attending commercial issues such as review of new rates, additional works, cost analysis, cost impact studies and disputed items of work, and make recommendations to the Project Manager.
- Review, evaluate and negotiate variation orders and produce recommendations to the Project Manager.
- Claims evaluation including compilation of effective contemporary records, preparation of contractual reports to Employer, and also to Arbitrator(s) if so required.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree (or similar equivalent) from an accredited college or university
- Professional qualification, such as RICS or MICE.
- Over 15 years experience in contracts administration and claims, with at least 5 years in senior role on large infrastructure project.
- Previous experience overseas, Middle East preferred.
