The RoleThe RoleContracts & Commercial Manager – Iraq Due to the extensive amount of money being pushed into Iraq’s infrastructure, my client is looking for a Contracts & Commercial Manager to join an international contractor. My client is working on various projects that include buildings, civils, bridges and infrastructure. They currently have a large expat workforce working on a good rotational basis and are looking to expand the team due to the large number of projects planned. The Role As Contracts & Commercial Manager, you will head up a team of quantity surveyors on various projects and report directly to the project director. You will look after all contract administration, claims and disputes and take on a client facing role. The role will be on a rotational basis with return flights to country of origin. Leadership is key in this very demanding environment. |
RequirementsRequirementsYou You will have experience managing large teams on various projects and will have worked in demanding environments. You will have 10 or more years experience at a senior level working with leading contractors on FIDIC contracts. A degree is not essential, preference will be given to those with a strong QS and Commercial background and the desire to work in Iraq. Rotation basis is negotiable depending on the individuals needs and requirements. |
