Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE:

The job holder must have broad focus on contractual issues such as contract preparation, maintenance, cost monitoring & ordering and payment procedures. Issues are to be discussed/ debated with supervision while incumbent will receive guidance and support from more senior professionals.
Incumbent in this level will be expected to perform key tasks such as the following:

• Prepare the main forms of pre and post-contract documentation including interim valuations and final accounts;

• Keep the contract documentation up to date and ensure that all documents relating to the contract are consistent, and that all parties have the correct version.

• Provide input to contract provision, maintenance, and implementation

• Understand the relevant risk distribution issues related to the client, main and sub-contractor relationships
• Liaise with other divisions for all related contractual matters and develop working relationships with line Managers

REMUNERATION:

An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:

A degree in relevant discipline and qualification in Contracts design and administration together with more than 7 years of experience including at least 5 years in oil and gas industry. The job holder at this level is required to have a good level of analytical and structured approach to formulation and administering contractual issues. This requires good knowledge of Operations policies, procedures and business practices together with skills in appropriate computer software, technical report writing and good English written / oral skills.
