Job description / Role
- Generally assist RE and deputize when required.
- Well aware of requirements specified in the Contract and participate in contract administration.
- Must have experience in cost and time claim analysis.
- Participating, as necessary, in developing the solicitation and writing the draft documents.
- The individual will be competent in the use of written language in both Arabic and English.
- Able to develop, implement and review contracts, make sure that best practices are applied on any given project.
- Handle complaints/suggestions from the client, and deal with any issues that may compromise the project start and completion date, payment of contract, invoicing, as well as any labor or equipment costs that may exceed the budget for the project.
- Review Contractors submissions and ensure prompt exchange of correspondence.
- Coordinate with the Department and Contractor.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree (M. Sc.) with 5 year experience or
- Engineering Degree (B. Sc.) with 8 year experience or
- At least 4 years of direct and related experience at applied category.
- At least 5 years experience in managing processes, engineering contracts contractual matters, value engineering, systems, procedure, and policies.
- Relevant IT skills / Computer literate.
- Excellent command of English & Arabic (Communication and writing skills)
- Valid UAE Driving License.
