Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Contract Manager supports, manages and administrates contracts across the organisation. Overseeing the execution of requests for proposals, requests for qualification and invitations to bid are further included. The Contract Manager defines and facilitates communication and administration between the organisation, its providers and clients in order to deliver according to plan and within the contractual regulations and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contracts drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients on all contractual and commercial matters. Acting as "middleman" between company and clients, ensuring timely review and approval and reconciliation of variations.
- Execution of Projects; identifying of scope changes and reflecting into strategy of claiming change orders; reporting and issuance of invoices.
- Maintaining and preparing of contractual records and documentation such as receipts, contractual correspondence, customer contact information, contractual changes, status reports, bid and proposals and other documents for all projects.
- Provide guidance on all contractual matters for internal and external resources including training in contracting practices and procedures.
- Developing and implementation of procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with IMS (Integrated Management System) and company policies.
- Monitor compliance by company and its employees. Identify areas of recurrent pressure.
- Work with Insurance / Risk / Finance Dept. to coordinate contractual insurance requirements.
- Ensuring that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.
- Handle on-going issues and change management.
- Monitor transaction compliance such as milestones, deliverables, invoicing, reporting, etc.
- Ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal.
- Creating and execution of proposals and orders in the SAP-SD for tenders and / or confirmed jobs with relevant reporting and interfaces to relevant departments.
- Preparation of appropriate forms and legal documents to attain maximum protection and remedies to avoid any risks or restrictions.
- Support and close working with Business Development and Customer Service Departments in regard to reporting, risk analysis and cost calculation.
Supporting of supply chain through adjusting PO and SO to ensure that they are valid under the relevant law.
- Management of claims and relevant reporting.

Requirements

- Should be a Native Arabic Speaker or European National
- Must have experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or EPC Contractors
- Degree (Diploma / Master) in Law, Business Law and/or Business Administration.
- 1-3 years' experience in Contract Management
- Competences in Claim Management
- Negotiation and analytical skills
- Commercial acumen
- Management of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in an international large-scale industry plant engineering and construction organization.
- Effective communication at all levels of management internally and externally.
