Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading consultancy within the region, They are currently looking for Contracts Manager - Procurement to provide efficient and effective services related to procurement contracting activities in line with existing policies and procedures to ensure the purchase of goods and services to budget, cost and quality. Reporting directly to Senior Manager Contract and Procurement, this job is based in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities:
- Oversees the tendering process and responds to all related clarifications
- Performs / support technical evaluation of tenders
- Develop contract requirements based on initial specifications and coordinate with Legal until contracts are set and are in place. This will include developing required service levels / payment terms / performance measurement
- Verifies appropriateness of budget codes and availability of funds
- Determines and develops appropriate sources of supply and maintains cooperative working relationships with vendors to stay current with trends and technologies, products and services;
- Maintains central filing system for procured contracts in accordance with policies, regulations
- Supports end user in contract management if needed
- Prepares monthly contract reports to the Senior Manager Contract and Procurement
- Resolves problems and issues arising from purchase of services, supplies and equipment with internal and external client
- Educate end users on the RFP process
- Build a portfolio of suppliers for goods and services

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Preferably Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Preferably relevant industry certifications (CIPS.)
- Research & Analysis
- Computer literacy excel, word, powerpoint
- English language skills (Oral and written)
- Arabic language skills (Oral and written)
