Contracts Manager – Railway Stations

Job description / Role

Opportunity to work on on of the most prestigious rail projects in the Middle East. Working for a PMC the successful candidate will join a team of construction and engineering professionals from around the world. Working on the construction of stations and facility buildings, some based in remote locations. As a Contracts Manager you will have full commercial responsibility for a section of the project reporting directly to the Commercial Director. Duties will include:
*Providing support and advice to the Project Manager, and as required to the Company management, in all aspects of contract management concerning the company's contractual relations with clients, consultants, partners, sub-contractors, suppliers, third-party authorities and other stakeholders as necessary.
*Through an intimate knowledge of all relevant parts of contract documentation (with client, partners, sub-contractors, etc) ensure the Project Manager and management have a clear understanding of the company's contractual obligations, rights, liabilities and risks. the project.
*Identify, report upon and manage, in conjunction with the Project Manager, risks and opportunities within all contractual relationships.

Requirements

To apply candidates should have

BSc or equivalent Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering
MRICS or similar
A track record of working on large scale civil engineering projects
Knowledge of forms of used in the Middle East i.e. FIDIC
Happy to work in a remote location with camp accomodation
