Job description / Role
We are looking for a Contracts Manager (Tower) to work for a consultancy in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Job Role:
Contracts Manager
Assess contractual risks and forecast problems, if any, that may arise from the current project contract, and future contracts - like the FF&E - before tendering,
Prepare claims against contractor(s) on behalf of the Owner,
Prepare answers to contractor(s) claims on behalf of the Owner,
Prepare the contractual documents for claims whether for submission or defending,
Prepare reports to the Owner and Engineer on claims,
Follow up on change orders / variations from contractual points of view,
Check insurance policy(ies) and bank guarantees and follow up on their validity till final handover.
Follow up on preliminary and final handover.
Requirements
Requirements:
Must be familiar (academically and practically) with the engineering side and the legal side of the project. Hence, the CM should have the following qualifications:
Academic degree (at least B. Sc) in an engineering field, say Civil, Architecture or Construction Management, and preferably, an academic degree in Contracts or Engineering law,
10 years + of experience in engineering and construction sites
Must have at least 5 years High rise tower experience
Must have 5 star hotel experience
