Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Serves as the onsite representative of the management and inspection of contractor construction activities, coordination of construction with operations and tenants, determination of appropriate contractor progress payments, processing and negotiation of changes to the work and claims, and control of contract documentation including submittal and letter processing, monitoring and reporting progress.

Coordinates the resolution of construction problems.

Participates in procurement / tender evaluations.

Supervises the preparation of construction procedures.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
At least 10 years relevant work experience.

At least 2 years contracts management experience in an engineering consulting firm in Middle East Region.

At least 3 years relevant contracts administration or management experience of marine/coastal/shore protection related projects such as construction of breakwater, quay wall, rock revetment, etc.

Expert knowledge of FIDIC contracts.

Strong management, organizational and communication skills.
