Contracts Manager

Job description / Role

An opportunity has arisen for a competent Contracts Manager within a leading Qatari company who provide project management services on a wide variety of professional projects in various locations around the world.

Our client is an exceedingly well respected company in Qatar and have been continually profitable with their projects. As testament to their success they have recently been awarded a ground-breaking urban real estate development project in Qatar. The project consists of building marinas, residential areas, commercial districts, luxury shopping, leisure facilities, golf courses and an entertainment district.

The Key responsibilities of the position include:

•Production tender and contracts documentation
•Preparing and administering the issue and control of all relevant Tender Committee contracts
•Complying with the legal standards of contracts
•Ensuring that compliance procedures are followed throughout the entirety of the project
•Compiling and writing contractual reports
•Providing risk assessments

Requirements

•Previous experience in preparation of tenders, contracts and contracts administration, particularly in relation to large scale construction projects, preferably in the Middle East
•Familiarity with FIDIC contracts
•A high standard of communication and organisational skills

For the ideal candidate our client can offer an all-inclusive lump sum package of QAR 45-50,000 pcm.
