Our client is a major Engineering Consultancy with a long standing history in the Qatar market. Due to several new project awards, our client is looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join its team in Doha.

The project is a large scale building project for the World Cup 2022!

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Member of the RICS (or equivalent) and have a strong background in Quantity Surveying - with experience in claims and mediation.

Requirements

In order to be considered for this role, the Contracts Manager will have the following skills and attributes:

Be degree qualified (or equivalent due to visa restrictions) in Quantity Surveying
Additional accreditation by a professional body such as the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) or similar is essential
Possess circa 18-20 years post graduate experience
Previous exposure working in top tier Engineering or Cost Consultancies
Exposure to providing commercial services to large scale building projects
Prior experience working in the Middle East is essential
Will have excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
