The RoleThe RoleKEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project & construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. This is an opportunity to join KEO in Qatar and take up the varied role of Contracts Manager on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) Contract. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to; mitigating project risks and claiming for variations. The role is within our PMCM Division and will have a focus on Heavy Civil Engineering projects. Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following: • A minimum of 18 years in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management with extensive focus on claims, contracts and dispute resolution. • Strong experience and capability in a wide range of Consultant Agreements and Construction Contracts and successfully resolving Quantum and EoT (Extension of Time) claims. • Expert knowledge of FIDIC suite of contracts • Multi-million ($) Civil Engineering projects ideally WWTP (Waste Water Treatment Plants), STP (Sewage Treatment Plants) or similar. • A sound commercial background i.e. Professional Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager, etc. |
