Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with the region’s leading landscaping company who due to winning several projects are looking to appoint a Contracts Manager for their office in Saudi Arabia. Our client has expanded over the last 30 years from the UAE to Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman. They have multiple new projects underway with more projects in the pipeline for the near and distant future.
As the Contracts Manager you will be monitoring the contractor’s progress and performance to ensure goods and services conform to the contract requirements as well as developing the solicitation and writing all draft documents. You will authorise payments consistent with the contract terms and resolve any disputes in a timely manner.
Requirements
The successful candidate should hold a Degree in engineering and have extensive experience and knowledge of all types of contract conditions including FIDIC. You should have five to seven years in a contract management position, have impeccable communication and negotiation skills as well as a good command of MS Office, MS Projects and Primavera.
