Contracts Manager - (Power Generation/ Claims)

(Duration: 12 months+). Contracts Manager must have extensive Power Generation experience and previous Claims experience would be an advantage.

In order to cater to the growing industrial needs in Yanbu, Marafiq had embarked upon its Yanbu 2 power and water project, the project is a 690 MW power (three power generation units) and 60,000 cubic meters per day water (two desalination plants) facility, including the marine, sea water network and fuel facilities.

Duties:
- Attend meetings with the Client and owners Representatives.
- Lead the POD using the schedule.
- Drive construction and Pre-commission for system completion.
- Update the client with the status of each system.
- Help the team to develop the schedule, reviewed the schedule for accuracy.

Requirements

- Direct, manage and supervise all main contractors and sub-contractors during the erection turnover to commissioning activities of a 2 X 600 mw coal fired units to include all main equipment and auxiliaries systems
- Manage and ensure daily work plans are established and coordinate interface with the client in all construction operations
- Prepare and manage the commissioning schedule and communicate priorities to site staff and to contractor leadership to include the clients upper management.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on commissioning progress, contractor needs and areas of concerns for clients upper management to include presentations at high level meetings
