The RoleThe RoleKEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Our clients entrust KEO with the major projects that will shape the future face of the country and the Gulf region. This is an opportunity to join us and take up the varied role of Contracts Specialist within our Claims Management and Dispute Resolution Services Department. The principle activities of this role are: • Internal review of all Client appointments. • Advice to KEO Management on claims and contractual issues including; bonds, insurances and indemnities. • Negotiations with Clients, Consultants and Contractors on contract terms and conditions and on all project related issues of contractual significance. • Undertake claims management and dispute resolutions services. To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate at least the following: • Strong experience and capability in a wide range of Consultant Agreements and Construction Contracts. • Good experience of procurement methods for large building and civil engineering projects. • Experience in complex projects from design through construction document and implementation including alternative forms of procurement. |
RequirementsRequirementsFor this role you will require a Quantity Surveying Degree and/or hold a professional affiliation and full membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and/or Chartered Institute of Arbitration (CIArb). A Post Graduate Law qualification or LLB in Construction Law is very desirable.
