Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Drive and operate the tendering process: management of PRs, processing of vendor registration and prequalification, drafting and review of RFPs, evaluation and analysis of technical and commercial bid responses, participation in the bid negotiation process, drafting and negotiation of contracts for awarded bids
- Drive and operate the procurement operations: management of PRs, processing of vendor registration and prequalification, drafting and review of RFQs, evaluation and selection of vendors in collaboration with requesting department, Preparation and submission of Purchase Orders/contracts (when applicable).
- Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure.
- Provide contractual guidance to business team members for appropriate Statement of Work.
- Manage contract-change control process. Liaise and interact with concerned departments to incorporate inputs/changes to the draft contracts.
- Analyze new law, regulation and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives.
- Assist in identification, development and implementation of new contract policy and processes.
- Ensure orders conform to specifications, terms and conditions and legal requirements and are delivered in a timely manner.
- Procure urgent requirements when needed and ensure the completion of the approval process and documents.
- Prepare periodic reports with respect to the Procurement functions activities and achievements to be submitted to the Procurement Manager.
- Carry out any other tasks and duties assigned by the Procurement Manager

Requirements

Personal skills requirements:
- Good analytical skills, good communication and negotiation skills, goal orientated work approach, Self Confidence, attention to quality and Clarity, willingness to work on weekends and outside of the business working hours when required, willingness to travel when required

Technical skills requirements:
- 3-5 years and more of solid and proven experience in international procurement and contracting.
- 3-5 years and more of solid and proven work experience with international /global companies
- Fluency in verbal and written English language
- Understanding & application of procurement principles, concepts, practices, and standards
- Computer literacy: MS windows/office applications in addition to a solid and proven experience in ERP systems
- Bachelor in finance /accounting or engineer degree (Master's degree would be considered as a plus)
- APICS, CPIM (certification in procurement and inventory management) would be considered as a plus
