The RoleThe RoleMain Tasks and Specific Duties: • Preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) Documents, evaluation of Bids and preparation of Contract Documents for various disciplines. • Monitoring Contractors' adherence to Contract requirements and conditions and advising the Company Management and Clients on any changes or amendments required and the results of any risk assessments. • Review and approval as necessary of Contractors' monthly payment requests against Contract requirements. • Preparation of Change Orders and Amendments and negotiation of such with the Contractor. • Evaluation of Contractors' Sub-contractors. • Review of Contractors' solutions to construction problems and making recommendations in respect of compliance with the Contract. • Interpretation of and providing advice on Contract conditions for Company Management and the Client. • Review and assessment of validity of Contractors' claims, recommendations to Company Management and negotiation of such claims as required. • Review and assessment of changes to Contract rates and prices. • Implementation of Close-out Procedures for Contracts. • Attendance at regular progress review meetings with the Contractor and Client and minuting such meetings where required. • Preparation of monthly reports on Contract progress. • Give advice to and direct where necessary support staff. • Review of all correspondence from Contractors, review of ANE's response to correspondence on technical matters, and preparation of correspondence for all commercial and contractual matters. • Provide support when required to ANE Corporate Contract requirements. |
RequirementsRequirementsGeneral Responsibilities: To manage the contractual and commercial aspects of Client Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Contracts with Contractors on behalf of the Client, within the limitations of authority delegated by the Client to Al Nahr Engineering Limited , and to provide contractual advice and report on contractual matters to ANE Management. Required Qualifications: Recognised Degree of Higher Education (B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying) with 5-10 years experience in Contract Management of major projects. |

Our team has been involved in Engineering and Project Management of the Great Man-Made River Project since its inception in 1984.
