Nature Publishing Group (NPG) is a division of Macmillan Publishers Ltd, dedicated to serving the academic, professional scientific and medical communities.

Nature Arabic Edition has a vacancy for a talented Copy Editor.

This exciting position involves working as part of a small editorial team on a new Arabic science publication, Nature Arabic Edition. The Copy Editor will receive translated articles (in Arabic) and will be responsible for editing and correcting said articles to near-perfection, as well as ensuring that all details and figures have been correctly translated.

Requirements

To meet these challenging tasks, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Arabic copy-editing preferably in a reputable publishing house. As this is a science publication, candidates with a relevant background will be given priority. Other important attributes include exceptional attention to detail, well-developed time-management skills and good interpersonal skills.
