Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Alshaya's corporate communications team is expanding to reflect the company's dynamic growth. With opportunities for communicators at senior, manager and executive level, we are looking for talented individuals who want to play a role in shaping and building the reputation of one of the world's leading retail franchise operators. Internal and external communications roles are both on the agenda, and successful candidates will be part of a strategic team that understands what content and channels will build stakeholder and customer awareness, both about Alshaya and our brands.

The Role: You will be responsible for proof reading and revising marketing/editorial copy as supplied by our brands or generated centrally at corporate level, in the relevant language, for the promotion of the Alshaya company and/or Alshaya brand.

Specifically you will:

* Support advertising and promotions/catalogues in magazines and social media
* Write clear, persuasive, original copy
* Work closely with Corporate Marketing colleagues and the brand teams
* Translate, proof read and check spelling and grammar
* Amend, revise or redevelop content to meet Alshaya and brand guidelines.

Requirements

Skills and Requirements:

You will have/be:

* Experience gained within an advertising or marketing agency
* A good understanding of print and production deadlines
* Good knowledge of the private sector, preferebaly in retail
* The ability to adapt text to different communications channels (traditional and online)
* Strong communication skills (fluent in English, Arabic and French)
* Degree educated
* Organised and detail oriented, able to work successfully to deadlines.
