Job description / Role
The Project Manager is responsible for defining and maintaining the project management framework within the PMO, ensuring that this is in-line with the overall project management framework across the IT Group. The candidate will have extensive experience of project and program management using one or more standard project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMI, and so on).
• It is must that the candidate should have banking domain knowledge and should have at least 6 yrs of banking experience.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience required.
Required Experience:
At least 8+ years managing upgrade / implementation projects.
• 5+ years experience in functional analysis and business requirements identification.
• Experience in managing 3rd Party Vendors for Core Banking Implementation.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2)
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., EPM, MS Project).
Required Skills:
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with all areas of an IT organization and the business.
• Foundational Architecture and Infrastructure Product Knowledge
• Knowledge in Application / Interfaces Design, Development & Implementation
• Deep knowledge and understanding of private and Islamic banking business processes.
• Good understanding of retail and corporate banking business processes will be an advantage.
• Strong business analysis and solution architecture skills.
• Strong communications skills and recognized specialist in his core technology.
• Ability to lead multiple teams in defining solutions to meet client requirements.
• Very good coordination skills and results oriented.
• Ability to think critically and identify all technical impacts of a product feature.
