Core System Specialist - Bahrain - Leading Financial Institution

A leading financial institution is seeking a Core System Specialist to join their team in Bahrain. The role involves; ensuring proper system support and up-time for all core systems software, providing regular progress reports to the manager, liaising with vendors to resolve software problems, establish and ensure that systems standard and guidelines are adhered to, coordinating with internal auditors for audit compliance and so on.

Requirements

- Have a degree in Engineering, Computer Science or an advanced degree in Accounting preferably with specialization in IT
- 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in IT
- 2 to 3 years of experience in similar position in Banking environment
- Capable to adapt to new technology and resolve computer system problems

Skills that are not mandatory however are beneficial:
- Currently residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain or Middle East region.
