Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Investment Banking Analyst required to support in the coverage and execution of IB transactions for the Industries desk.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Perform financial and valuation analysis
* Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios
* Analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential M&A transactions
* Participate in both the origination and execution of transactions from the pitch through to closing
* Support the preparation of presentation materials, pitch books, analysis, etc., for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance
* Support the origination and execution of equity and debt transactions including due diligence and drafting of documents
* Maintain up to date knowledge on all Industries clients as well as targets
* Research and analysis of relevant markets and industries
* Research and financial analysis of companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
* Coordinate efforts with deal team members across all divisions of the Bank
* Involved in day to day project management and execution support
* Complete all required credit and regulatory examinations.

Requirements

* Only applicants with solid prior experience in investment banking or corporate finance will be considered for this role.
* A minimum of 3 years experience as an Analyst within Corporate Finance
* Excellent communication skills - communicates with impact
* Experience of handling elements of both pitches and execution of deals would be beneficial
* Excellent analytical skills, with a solid understanding of statistical data and company reports
* First class presentation skills and a persuasive communicator both in person and via presentation media
* Previous exposure to capital markets and M&A analysis and advisory
* Happy to work in a supporting role and take the lead as a writing analyst on deals
* Previous industries experience would be beneficial
