Job description / Role
Focus:
Develop effective public relations programs and assure they are managed for client satisfaction and agency profitability. Recognizes and pursues new business opportunities on the accounts for which he/she is assigned. Provides leadership, training and development for those reporting to him/her.
Position Responsibilities:
- Understand client business (and the industry/industries in which it participates), provide appropriate and timely strategic client counsel
- Develop and implement creative programs that produce superior results for clients and result in increased agency revenues
- Know media needs and the appropriate channels for dissemination of information
- Guide Account Staff on media relations strategies
- Assist in the development of new business presentations
- Monitor projects to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
- Make assignments and forms project teams that enable effective coordination of effort and use of individual team member talents
- Ensure each account team member has a clear understanding of expected performance and its contribution to the agencys objective

Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Demonstrable client relations, program development, media relations and writing/editing skills
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in writing, client and media relations, program development and project management

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in PR, Communications or a related discipline.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience working on corporate clients and strategy presentations
- Must be an Arabic Speaker
