Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Managing and create a calendar for events (internal & external) & sponsorship, and communicate this to all employees (senior management and all staff).
- Project manages all event & sponsorship activities for BankDhofar.
- Ensure all work is in line with the guidelines. Create a check list to enable decision making if or if not a tradeshow or event should be exhibited at, spoken at etc. or if a sponsorship activity (commercial or philanthropy) should be sponsored.
- Organizing annual and quarterly results events, including the logistics for Board members.
- Organize and oversee BankDhofars participation at all festivals, creating a positive brand atmosphere and the stand that everyone wants to visit.
- Propose, budget and coordinate a BankDhofar mobile roadshow (in partnership with our retail and business colleagues).
- Continually evaluate measure and document events and exhibitions BankDhofar have exhibited at and make future recommendations.
- Owner of industry conference, positioning BankDhofar as an opinion leader in the sector. Research and recommend a calendar of events, and coordinate implementation from A to Z.
- Seek new opportunities in line with BankDhofar's brand strategy.
- Owner of all event and sponsorship budgets, inputting to the annual departmental budget.
- Working with the Deputy Head of Department create a set of KPI's for your team, and agree a list of annual deliverables broken down by each quarter for each employee.

General and administrative:
- Ensure there is a full back up of all finished projects undertaken in such a manner as to make them easily retrievable at all times.
- Prepare weekly status report covering all jobs being undertaken at any point identifying any delays or issues in order for them to be resolved.
- Create process and procedures for events and sponsorship and ensure they are implemented and followed. As a team Branding & Marketing Communications will elect one member to coordinate this for each of the departments.
- Continually ensuring the BankDhofar logo and brand is represented correctly in the market place.

Requirements

- Must be an Omani National
- 6+ years experience in a similar role.
- Sound understanding of all disciplines within branding, marketing communications and product marketing.
- Understanding of the banking arena in Oman.
- Must possess effective communication and listening skills with strong oral and written presentation skills.
- Should be self-motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic
