Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:
To provide the Client with a all aspects of financial management and corporate finance in support of the client's strategies and business objectives

Principal Accountabilities:
1.Research market conditions and manage corporate finance projects including financial advisory on M&A and capital raising exercises.
2.Conduct investigations into the financial and commercial start of companies, giving consideration to particular transactions
3.Lead the financial modelling, developing and presenting appropriate financial solutions.
4.Perform investment due diligence and provide advice on capital structure. Liaise with relevant regulatory authorities.
5.Project managing transactions, negotiate terms and conditions and develop proposals to raise funds
6.Ensure all regulatory aspects of a transaction have been considered.
7.Manage the financial assessment of any potential participation in any new business ventures or acquisitions by the client, providing management with robust and insightful information and recommendations upon which to base decisions.
8.Work with external company and government agencies to ensure that all reasonable requests for information, explanations and justifications relevant to financial planning are met in-line with relevant statutory and other requirements...
9.Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports and detailed analyses for presentation at Board meetings and to meet the requirements of the CFO, the business units, etc., for reliable and timely financial information and insight.
10.Develop the budgeting, forecasting, planning processes, supporting the commercial decision making process and evaluating new products and M&A opportunities.

Requirements

- CFO - Understanding what and when to escalate issues upwards and/or where the CFO needs to be aware of a potential issue.
- Other Finance Managers to exchange/receive financial data and information in a timely and reliable manner.
- Managers across the business in order to obtain the necessary information/data and insight to meet the financial planning/reporting timetables and to provide timely/helpful support and advice to them
- Auditors/Government agencies important to maintain a good working relationship
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong Numerical skills
- Well-rounded commercial and economic awareness and understanding of financial markets
- Strong sense of business integrity and business ethics
- Business communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work in a regulated environment with set policies and procedures

Experience
- 5 years in areas of Corporate finance activity ideally involving JVs, divestments, business repositioning, M&A activity
- Regional knowledge and experience
- Formulating business strategies
- Sector experience on a global scale
- Sound knowledge of risk analysis
- International business environment
- Understanding of corporate finance
