The RoleThe RoleOur client is a well respected Global Law Firm looking to hire a qualified, experienced corporate Finance and Banking Lawyer. The role is focused on banking and finance matters which will include, but not be limited to, drafting, negotiating, structuring leading transactions and practice development. The role covers a span of normal banking work, some financial services and regulatory work and lead initiatives. The ideal candidate must be comfortable handling client meetings and be able to work independently to the high standards set by the company. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe candidate must be a graduate of English Law from a recognised School and hold at least 7 + years PQE in banking and finance from a global law firm or major bank in-house expertise. Their qualifications should be in English or commonwealth Law, with a further focus on being comfortable with conventional, structured finance, some Islamic Finance and structured products. An understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements is a must along with a driven, hands on approach to develop business relations. |
