Job description / Role
Employer outreach and business development, marketing and communication campaigns to build significant presence for Business School in the Middle East region.
Develop relationships with companies & individuals who will engage with and employ talent across a variety of sectors in the region and result in career opportunities for MBA & EMBA students and alumni
Design and execute development & outreach strategies to identified targets (current and prospect) - scan local labour markets, identify companies with potential MBA/EMBA hiring, develop relations with and influence key personnel in hiring companies, leverage current relationships.
Develop meaningful career activities that will educate and advise students of the regions career opportunities.
Individual career advice sessions with students interested in working in the region.
Collaborate with other Career Development Center and campus members to hold Career Forums and other career related events.
Requirements
Masters degree in business or related field preferred
Having an already established network of regional business contacts would greatly contribute to the success of the positions objectives
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience of top performance in key account sales, marketing or business development. Thorough knowledge of basic concepts, principles, and procedures of building and maintaining effective relations with global corporations. Additional experience valuable in the following:
- Business School education
- Executive search firms
- Corporate recruiting or outplacement for international executives
- Training and career counselling of international executives/high potentials
Corporate working experience in Middle East region and demonstrated understanding of the culture, current market, major players and economic trends. Experience of working in a fast moving international environment
