Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

For the role of Corporate Rehab Service Coordinator you will be reviewing current policy, procedures and protocols of specific departments within HMC’s Rehabilitation services, revising old practices and establishing new ones for a brand new state-of-the-art Rehabilitation facility within HMC. You will need to work closely with our physicians, directors and nurses in order to record current state activities and create new policies. You will also work closely with Regulatory, and you’ll be required to work with department leads to disseminate information to all staff.

Excellent communication skills and confidence working in a multidisciplinary team are a must!

Long term, you will specialize in one area of policy and procedural development, for example: Stroke Program; Spinal Cord Injury Program; Traumatic Brain Injury Program.

It is imperative that all new policies, procedures and protocols are established prior to the opening of the new facility and therefore the right candidate will be making an important contribution to this exciting stage in HMC’s history.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Physiotherapy/ Occupational therapy/ Speech therapy from a nationally approved curriculum of study. Certificates or qualifications of an administrative or managerial nature will be beneficial to your application.

Experience: 10 years of clinical experience and 2 years of management of clinical area experience in rehabilitation services.

Required Certification or Licensure or Registration.
