Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking
Dubai

Our client is a conventional bank in the Middle East and is currently looking for a Dubai based Corporate Relationship Manager to join their team. This role is primarily responsible for effectively managing key prospective and existing corporate relationships in order to ensure achievement of targets in terms of profit, income, trade volumes etc. Also has responsibility for the quality of assets in the portfolio. Supports relationship team members in matters pertaining to the accounts managed by them.

A few of the job requirements can be highlighted as follows:
- Plans and co-ordinates marketing of products and services to all clients within the portfolio with the objective to maximise revenue/return
- Develops, enhances and maintains relationships with existing and new clients to ensure revenue targets are met
- Prepares relationship plans for all customers and high priority prospects. Implements structured calling program to give effect to these plans.
- Keeps up to date with industry and economic indicators
- Monitors customer account activity and early warning indicators in order to identify potential risk deterioration
- Ensures provision of high quality and timely service to clients
- Ensures that all documentation for a credit proposal is complete and works with the credit admin to ensure that there is no security shortfall
- Guides and coaches junior team members on an ongoing basis
- Ensures adherence to guidelines and rectification of discrepancies pointed out in the any exception report or by internal, external and Central Bank auditors
- Maintains contact with competitor bank counterparts in order to identify risk sharing opportunities

Requirements

- Bachelor degree / MBA
- Dubai RM experience is mandatory
- 6+ years of experience in the financial services industry, in marketing and credit functions
- Technical Skills: Credit Appraisal Skills; Financial analysis/quantitative skills, Awareness of Market and Industry trends; Knowledge of Internal Banking Processes, Banking product knowledge including trade, cash management and treasury
- Behavioral Skills: Results driven with the ability solicit new business.
