Corporate Relationship Manager - Dubai

Our client is one of the largest Qatari Banks.

- Develop, manage and maintain existing relationships and new clients, develop a portfolio of accounts and grow share of wallet whilst mitigating any credit risk.
- Lead the profitability and balance sheet of the designated portfolio of the clients to meet and surpass business targets as well as to meet individual budget targets and objectives and develop bank market share of deposits, low cost or free funds (current and call accounts), investments, trade finance and other banking business from the dedicated target industry segment.
- Identify the potential clients within the relevant area, from referrals and use market knowledge to acquire new clients.
- Dynamically undertake and maximise the cross-selling of products to a portfolio of the clients, marketing of new products and services to the client portfolio.
- Make best use of client relationship profitability and ensure good asset superiority and maximise the cross-selling of products and services to the client portfolio.
- Partake in regular, structured client meetings and ensure all clients are personally met at least with higher frequencies for the top 25%.
- Ensure prospects are identified, market information on developments as appropriate is gathered and business referred to other teams is provided in a standard format.
- Ensure client details are regularly updated and detailed information about the client is collected.
- Manage client portfolios according to needs to maximise product sales, footprint, AUM and optimise returns. Monitor, review and manage lending portfolio performance, risk, and support collection activities.
- Communicate with products and service experts in order to best serve client needs.
- Stay up to date with all relevant policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with internal, monetary, legal and fiscal rules and guidelines.
- Establish new relationships, consistent with the Banks strategic and commercial objectives.
- Hold regular meetings with portfolio clients to introduce the banks products and services in order to maximize portfolio revenues and ensure that customers are satisfied with services received.
- Ongoing interchange with customers to ensure that they are aware of all banks products/services applicable to their situation and credit analysis.
- Main point of contact for all portfolios of customers in order to ensure appropriate servicing and effective resolution of issues.
- Take part in regular, controlled client meetings and ensure all clients are personally met twice in a year with higher frequencies for the top 25%.
- Gather information on existing and potential customers; analyse credit worthiness, credit data compilation and financial information understanding in order to ensure a constant workflow with all required information available.
- Profile existing and potential clients in order to identify overall banking needs and thus present clients to appropriate new products and services.
- Develop account strategies in a continuous and timely way in order to rapidly follow-up on recognized business opportunities and regularly update team leader about portfolios accounts development.
- Manage client portfolios according to needs to maximise product sales, footprint, AUM and optimise returns.
- Monitor, analyse and manage lending portfolio performance, risk, and support collection activities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business-related major.
- 4 - 6 years relevant experience in the banking sector.
- Interpersonal skills
- GCC exposure
- Must have family office experience
- Must have excellent knowledge of trade and structured finance
- Influencing and Negotiation skills
- Numerical skills
- Arabic speaking preferred
