Job description / Role
Our Client, an international energy company based in Dubai, is looking for a transactional/contracts associate to join their existing team.
The primary focus of the role is to play a leading role in the development and management of a solid legal support function that enables internal stakeholders to achieve business excellence. The incumbent will be working closely with the various functions and business divisions in order to support the corporate restructuring activities in the MENA region, prepare commercial agreements, roll-out processes, provide and coordinate timely support from external advisers.

Excellent academic credentials and a Bachelor degree in Law from a recognized University
5 years + of professional experience in a leading law firm and/or legal department of a multinational corporation
Ability / maturity to deal with internal and external senior level executives within the organization
Ability to understand the business goals, perspectives and exercise good judgments in a timely manner
Flexible and proactive in approach, able to drive multiple-simultaneous initiatives
Excellent communication and document drafting skills
Results-oriented and able to work under pressure
High degree of reliability, confidentiality, discretion, quality and professionalism
Have a high level of integrity and good common sense
Have strong ethics and values and be widely trusted, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and gain confidence
Native Arabic speaker and fluent in English. French would be an asset.
Availability to travel for business meetings
