Job description / Role
Talented Cost Consultant required for a site based role for a mega stadium construction project in KSA. You will act as the main point of contact for client and contractor for all Commercial and Contractual matters related to the execution of the construction program.
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the client
- Undertaking costs analysis for work completed
- Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
- Performing risk and value management and cost control
- Advising on procurement strategy
- Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
- Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
- Allocating work to subcontractors
- Providing advice on contractual claims
- Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
- Valuing completed work and arranging payments
- Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
- Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Degree Qualified Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Significant measurement experience
- Sports facility / Stadium construction project experience advantageous
- Pre and Post Contract Cost management Experience
- Previously worked for internationally recognised consultant or contractor
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
- Flexible to challenging environment as will be required at remote site location
