Employment: Full Time

This opportunity is for an extremely organized, experienced professional who have an eye for accuracy and attention to detail. The person will be responsible for managing the cost control function to ensure that the construction projects and activities are completed within the assigned time, budget and quality in align with the contract and project requirements.

In this role you will be responsible for developing and recommending creative solutions to solve construction issues and monthly forecasting. The position will be reporting to Technical Manager.

Job responsibilities include:

Participates in the development and implementation of cost controls policies, processes and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.

Prepares the development of cost controls budget and monitors against the financial performance.

Reviews the work in progress to ensure continuous work flow.

Reviews technical feasibility of proposed solutions to construction planning issues.

Provides leadership of the cost control by providing guidance and encouraging teamwork.

Assuming a lead role in educating, training and coaching the Division in relation to project control risks and management strategies.

Identify opportunities for reductions in overall project costs and schedules.

Drive continual cost control improvements throughout the projects.

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

A minimum of 7 years of overall Cost Control experience. You will have worked in a similar role for minimum 3 years within a fast paced environment and have created key strategies contributed to the project cost control.

Strong project controls experience with a sound understanding of project cost, scheduling and forecasting.

Bachelors degree in Engineering from a reputed university.

Strong experience in Primavera software.

Possess excellent analytic skills with experience of costing systems.

A proven track record of budgeting processes and developing cost control procedure.
