The RoleThe Role• Develop cost structures and cost account codes for various generic project types. • Prepare cost estimate of resources and other expenses through discussions with functional leaders in a timely manner using cost structure. • Analysis of tenders (pre & post contractual & commercial works) • Perform cost analysis and advise project leaders on cost over-runs in a timely manner so that corrective actions can be taken. • Check and monitor the consumption of quantity if material on the project. • Prepare monthly Job Performance Reports and provide the key information necessary for the Profit and Loss report. • Check the project cost variations • Check the interim payment certificates. • Record cost information (electronic or hardcopy form) using cost structure and utilize this cost information for future project cost estimation. • Any other duties as assigned by Chief Financial Officer /CFO. |
RequirementsRequirements• Bachelor of Accounting/Engineering - Civil / Construction • 8 years direct work experience in a cost controller capacity • Experience in Curtain Walling industry preferred • Preferred candidate with experience in the GCC countries • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings will be considered an advantage. • Willing to relocate to Qatar |
